Acer Dissectum Atropurpureum is a weeping Japanese maple with deep burgundy foliage. This tree is slow small tree that grows to 1.5–2 m tall and with is 2–3 m (broad, cascading dome). A finely cut, lace‑leaf Japanese maple with rich deep purple-red foliage that holds colour well through summer. Forms a graceful, umbrella‑shaped mound. Prefers sheltered, part‑shade positions out of strong wind and harsh afternoon sun. Excellent for feature planting or near water/rock gardens.
