Kahikatea Dacrycarpus dacrydioides is one of the tallest growing NZ Natives. .It straight upright form is stunning when grown to large heights it produces berries that attracted birds like pigeonwood & tui. These trees can reach heights of 50m tall and 5m wide and are ideal for revegetation planting, particularly in wetter areas and riparian projects. when grown side by side they twine their roots around one another as a support system.
